Jessica & Chris are just about as adorable as a couple can get. Jessica had the fearless turn-up-the-glamor attitude that I just love to have in a client! She chose a beautifully romantic side swept loose curl look that complimented her gorgeous dress so perfectly. Making my job just as easy as it can get with such pretty girl.

From the very first consultation Jessica knew exactly how she wanted to look on her big day; much like she knew that she was marrying the man of her dreams. She was glowing; you could see her enthusiasm and feel the love! I truly enjoyed working with her and her mother, they looked absolutely beautiful!

There's no I in Team... Assisting!

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of assisting my good friend and celebrity make up artist Bulmaro of BulsEye Makep. Bulmaro is a wonderfully genuine person who always gives of himself without question which is why he has been an industry leader for over 20 years and his reputation speaks for itself; and if you can afford his talent you can be sure it will be well worth every penny!  Which is why I was so delighted that he thought of me when putting together his team for a wedding event. It was an awesome day and a tremendous learning experience for which I am truly grateful!

Wedding Season is Here!!!

Yay! My favorite (and busiest) season of the year has arrived!! I always love spring it brings beautiful weather, lovely flowers and grand celebrations. I can't wait for a packed schedule of weddings and tons of brides to meet!

Breakfast at Sarai's!!

This was an awesome retro "Breakfast at Tiffany's" themed quince anos.

Everything was baby blue and very feminine. All of the girls went with a traditional Audrie Hepburn french twist and sparkling tiara.

The Quinceanera Sarai's look was classic winged eyeliner and ultra shine hot pink lips.

Doing this as long as I have you learn to do your work in a way that doesn't disturb the "family dynamics" of  a days so personal as your wedding. A day you share with only your closest people as you get ready to take that wonderful leap of love and faith. Its quite an experience and part of the reason I just love to do weddings. Today it was Anna's big day all that could be heard was the back and forth discussions in Russian between her and her mother. At one point they argued, then they laughed and eventually cried; these are the moments most treasured when looking back on life.The moments with those we love most.

There were a lot of things about this wedding in particular that I thought to myself... if I were to get married (whoa...) it might be something like this... They planned a small, 80 or so guest list, outside ceremony atop a hill at The Gurshin Bachus Winery in Temecula.  Just all the people who mattered most. It was beautiful and intimate, what could be more perfect?
